Our bent grass course was created by internationally famous
golf architect Arthur Hills, the only person to ever win the prestigious Golf Digest award for designing the best new private and public course in the same year (1991). He regards our property as one of the finest with which he has had the opportunity to work. For those who enjoy playing in a gorgeous bluff bound setting, the challenge lies in the fairway sculpting, green shapes and contours, bunkers and the way Hills uses visual perspective to challenge a golfer's abilities.
Learning (Practice) Center
The huge learning center is one of the best in the Midwest.
Besides the 350-yard practice range with target greens,
there is a putting green and two USGA designed greens for
sand, whipping and wedge practice up to 60 yards. Use of
the facility including availability of unlimited practice
balls, is included with each member's dues. If there isn't
time for a full round, this facility makes practice both
productive and a pleasure.
